Currently, I am working towards finishing my coursework towards an MA in Counseling in Community Mental Health, to obtain my Marriage and Family Therapist License.  I have just completed a year long stint at the AIDS Health project in San Francisco, and look forward to working with the team at the SF Therapy Collective this fall. I anticipate opening my own practice working with the LGB, transgender and gender variant communities in about a year. I have enjoyed participating as a judge for the Lambda Literary awards for many years now and have been the Book Review columnist for Curve magazine for over 20 years. I am also a special advisor to the Board of the Jim Collins Foundation which assists low-income transgender adults afford their gender reaffirming surgeries.
